If  you’re anything like me then you might agree when I say that  it’s easier to feel motivated during the first day of the week. You’ve made a commitment to change something and Monday always seems like the best day to start your diet, the gym, quit smoking, finish your essay, spring clean, help someone, research a course you were meant to start…the list goes on.

The chances are if you were lacking the motivation to start with then continuing with this particular commitment after you’ve hit the first or second hurdle, it’s just as hard. I myself am trying to motivate myself and get my butt into gear about tying up loose ends and applying for a new course. Have I started? Well….as they say tomorrow never comes!

Here are some of my favourite mid – week quotations to keep you going for when you need that extra kick!

 # “The greatest oak tree was once a little nut that held its ground.” Unknown Author

# “Hope sees the invisible feels the intangible and achieves the impossible.” Unknown Author

# “You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind.” Unknown Author

# “Never give up on something that you can’t go a day without thinking about.” Unknown Author

# “Failures do what is tension relieving, while winners do what is goal achieving”. Unknown Author

# “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” Unknown Author

# “You will never find time for anything. If you want the time, you have to take it!” Charles Buxton

# “When you come to road block take a detour.” Mary Kay Ash

 # “To do two things at once is to do neither.” Elizabeth Kenny

 # “Friends are those rare people that ask how you are and then wait for an answer.” Ed Cunningham

 # “You must either modify your dreams or magnify your skills” ! Unknown Author

All Things Bling! Tis The Season…

Posted on 09 Dec 2010 at 12:07am

Seeing as the festive season always calls for all things bling and sparkly I’ve put together all my favorite pieces and accessories  in prep for Christmas this year and to give you some fab ideas to light up your outfit. (Excuse my elated enthusiasm I normally work most of the xmas period).

There’s some amazing pieces out there and so long as its done cleverly it won’t look cheap or tacky…in order words don’t try and compete with the Christmas tree!
