Victoria Secrets is Coming to London! Finally!

Posted on 15 Nov 2010 at 10:09pm

Who doesn’t love cute, sexy and posh undies?  Whether we’re wearing it as  present for our  guys, it’s always going to make us feel gorgeous even if it’s only you or your man that will ever lay eyes on it.

I took a sneak peak at this year’s 2010 Victoria Secret’s range and I’m lovin’ it! The American Lingerie Super-Brand is popular for all the right reasons and the same can be said for the renowned shows they put on.  This decorative and remarkable show has been going on yearly since 1994 with this year’s event being the 16th show. The live show took place on the 11th of November 2010 in New York and will air on TV on the 30th of November 2010 on the American channels only.

I have to admit I have always thought the shows were overhyped and over the top. As you can imagine, this year was no exception! During last weeks show, Grammy-nominated singers Akon and Katty Perry performed at the show with the usual extravagant customs to go with the new range of underwear.

I personally don’t think the show gives you a chance to really appreciate the underwear and I’m almost certain that one bra strap alone would cost more than my whole modest La Senza collection.

Well ladies, I took my time to look at the Victoria Secret range on line for you all and some of it is gorgeous and to my surprise it really isn’t that expensive. The bras range from $45 – $70 and Knickers from $11 – $20. I’m also loving the  themes that they have for the different ranges from ‘Starry Nights’ (my favourite) to ‘Naughty and Nice’. They do have a exclusive pricer range at $250.00 with Swarovski Crystal Elements and special padding that lifts you up and out, which is said to instantly adding up to 2 full cup sizes for maximum cleavage and fullness. (the final picture) …i’m just sayin

Even better still….

They’re coming to London Town and I personally can’t wait! Apparently modern British women are said to be the second-biggest consumers of lingerie in Europe ( Yes, the French chicks are the first…but of course!) Victoria Secret has finally deemed me and my fellow city girls worthy and are coming to London. A flagship superstore is due to open in London in 2012, on the corner of New Bond Street.  They also have a shoe and clothing range, it’s ok but I think they should have stuck to the undies. I can’t imagine wearing a pair of boots from Victoria Secrets. Well people I shall keep y’all posted! In the meantime…

Motivational Message Of The Week: Re-Echoing “10 Reasons Why You Do Not Need A Job” To Be Successful

Posted on 15 Nov 2010 at 5:08am

Apart from one particular person I know in life that does not see any necessity in being successful; I believe every individual will want to be successful. This particular person I know is “Mr Sucker”.

It may sound funny to know that “Mr Sucker” is not an ordinary “Joe” on the street but an indoctrinated and educated “chap” who over the years have been made to believe in an entrenched manner that “working for others is cool and it is the best in this world”. If you have this mindset, then I am sorry to say you are that “Mr Sucker”.

I used to be “Mr Sucker” until I stumbled on an article written by “Steve Pavlina” captioned “10 Reasons Why You Do Not Need A JoB”.  The heading of the article was enough to catch my attention and I am proud to say after I read it, I decided to get out of the “Mr Sucker” skin and become the successful man I have always wanted to be. That was the point of dramatic change in my life.

Success is a dicey concept, therefore difficult to attain if you do not understand in full the road map as well as the tips needed to grab it. If a treasure is positioned at the South Pole and in your attempt to discover this treasure, you head towards the North Pole, what is the probability that you will find this treasure? (more…)
