Your First Date Love Forecaster: A Sneak Peak into a Future Relationship From Those First Few Encounters!8 Comments

Apparently it’s been said that we can learn all we need to know about our future relationship with a potential partner. I remember reading this article some time ago and thinking…hmmmm interesting, very very interesting.

Relationship experts claim that when we first meet a man, the initial encounter with this new man is much more revealing than we realise, it’s all about paying attention to detail. This is not to suggest you arrive at your date with the intention of scrutinizing every word, movement or sip of his drink.

However relationship experts have done all the work on our behalf. The experts have come up with 7 key moments that occur early on in our romantic encounters that give us an idea of what’s in store later on should the relationship progress. So in affect by noting these subtle behaviours women have the potential to predict what’s in store for us. That goes for the good as well as the not so good!

….now I should point out that it’s likely you already do some or know some of these points already but I’m hoping one of these points will come in handy in any case! Read the first encounter and Pass it on!

The First Encounter

The initial encounter with a new man is said to be much more revealing than we realise. You may have already learnt that by nature 85% of our judgement towards someone is non-verbal and we’re able to sum up the essence of a person in one glance. Psychologists call it the ‘blink factor’. As part of our survival instincts body language experts say when we first meet a man we process thousands of subliminal signals that are mainly to do with aggression, power, status and sex.

Most of these signals we are taking in about a man during these first moments tend to be based on the physical- the clothes, eye colour, and smell occur before he even opens his mouth. Our first impressions at this point are so spot-on that this first encounter reveals more about a potential boyfriend/partner’s credentials on a first date because we can’t control reactions the way we can conversation. So we may be able to stir a conversation in a certain direction on a date but not his reactions and behaviours so taking note of what he does as oppose to what is says is much more important.

As it is commonly said, actions speak louder than words and this is where it matters. Body Language Expert Judith James suggests that we look at a man’s pace and general body movement. James further explains that ‘slow and deliberate movements shows confidence; big, sweeping gestures will indicate he is high status and dominant whilst small and apologetic movements are the actions of someone who is passive and submissive.

The same is said to relate to his voice: loud and abrasive shows an overconfident guy who is probably insecure in relationships and needs to show off. Surely if he was relaxed, his manner would be also.

As we know eye contact when communicating with someone is vital and it also reveals more, whether it be shyness causing him to look down or the secret girlfriend he is trying to hide (a liar will tend to look everywhere except at you, even a good liar will mess up on this).

The fact is a man who’s relaxed in your company is an open and honest person and if it starts of this way it’s likely to continue this way.

A good forecaster question on a date can be a savvy way of getting some info he might not openly reveal! You can ask about his vices/habits. Why? Well apparently Gamblers ( any type ) are spontaneous risk takers but can be detached from reality and drinkers tend to be insecure beneath all that bravado! Your thinking you would deal any of these anyway right? If you know the vice you can know what you can handle. We ALL have vices so it’s good to know the effects either way!
